“We’ve had this fire basin for a few months now and love it. There appears to be good air circulation, so the fires burn hot (i.e. good brightness and not too much smoke, although still smoke). The copper also turns a pretty color with burning, but that’s true of all copper. I also really like the cover, and have put it on several of our larger and more unwieldy fires with no detrimental effect, as far as I can tell.”

“We have had this fire pit for about a month now and have had fires in it several times already. We have cooked sandwiches and pies in pie irons and toasted marshmallows, and of course, just sat and watched the flames dancing in the night. We live in Ohio and the evenings are cool enough to enjoy the fire. Since we leave this sitting on our contrete patio at all times, I did drill holes in the bottom of the copper bowl with a masonry bit to allow water to drain out. And I particularly wanted one that had a screen that you could open to add more wood. Much easier than trying to remove a hot screen. This is a sturdy and attractive fire pit. We plan on using it until winter and then will store it in the garage.”
